Art and painting mean to me endless searching, exploring and finding new things. Usually I like to work with watercolors and ink because they give so many different possibilities to get out my own expression. With them I try to get harmony on paper but giving space to always so suprising and wild nature of watercolor. I love strong and deep colors.

 

When I start to paint I never know how long journey with colors I am going to do. Sometimes everything happens very quickly, sometimes it takes lot of time. My paintings can sometimes be very quiet and sensitive or sometimes they can be strong and colorful.

 

Themes in my paintings are based on mental images and emotions. I am interested in sleeping cities, mental images, silent faces, spirit of trees and forest, phenomenon of universe, impression of colors. Most of my paintings are abstract.
